Maine Prairie Grain Warehouse located 13 1/2 miles east of Highway 113. Two story wooden structure. Grain barges on the Cache Slough. Grain was transported by wagons to the warehouse where the grain was loaded onto barges or small sailing ships to market. Verified by Eric Warnken 2005.

Capitol Hotel on the s.e. corner of First and A Streets. Four gentlemen standing in front of the entrance. One gentlemen standing on balcony. The hotel was destroyed in a disastrous fire in 1920. After this fire the community raised $10,000 to purchase the city's first fire truck.
