Cards addressed to Elda Eggert in Berkeley, Mr. Allison in Elmira and Mrs. I. W. Jones in Crawford,Nebraska. This school was built in 1880 and known as Dixon Academy. It was renamed in 1892.

Maine Prairie School at Maine Prairie and Robben Road sitting dilapitated. It was demolished in 1988. The school was originally located in the triangle of Norton and Bartlett Roads. There was flooding each year in the area. At one time people in a rowboat looked in the window and saw the piano floating as high as the ceiling. Due to the school was then moved to Luttges property at the corner of Maine Prairie and Robben Roads.
